Your First Trip

When you begin, resist the temptation to race toward the first objective immediately. A short drive around the neighborhood can help you understand how movement and vehicles work. Try turning, stopping, changing direction, and getting in and out of cars.

Once you know your way around, missions become easier to handle. Objectives may send you across different parts of the city or put you in situations where driving and combat happen almost back-to-back. Keeping track of where you are can save valuable time.

The city is also worth exploring between missions. Different streets can offer new routes, and knowing more than one way to reach a location becomes useful when things suddenly get complicated.

How to Play

Try to avoid driving without a plan when you are being chased. Sharp turns and familiar side streets can be useful if you already know the area. When combat starts, give yourself enough space to aim instead of rushing directly toward every enemy.

Pay 'n' Spray can also help when you need to shake off police attention. If you know where one is located, remembering the route can be surprisingly useful.

Quenq Vice City is enjoyable because it does not force every moment into the same routine. One session might be mostly missions, while another could turn into an accidental sightseeing tour with a suspiciously fast car.
