This cheerful multiplayer game mixes hide-and-seek with creative camouflage, challenging players to disappear into the environment using nothing but a splash of paint and a clever idea. It sounds simple at first, but every match quickly becomes a contest of imagination.

One round you'll be hiding beside a colorful fence. The next, you'll be trying to pass as part of a playground while the Seekers walk by without a clue. That's where the real fun begins.

Every Decision Matters

The game is built around two teams: Hiders and Seekers.

Hiders start each round as plain white characters. Before the countdown ends, they can paint themselves to match nearby objects and search for a convincing place to stay hidden. A good disguise is all about balance. Matching the colors helps, but choosing the right location is just as important.

Seekers have a very different challenge. Instead of relying on speed, they need to pay attention to the smallest details. A strange shape, an object that seems slightly out of place, or unexpected movement can all reveal a well-hidden opponent.

Creativity Wins More Than Speed

One of the most enjoyable parts of MECCHA CHAMELEON is that there isn't a single "best" strategy. Every player approaches the game differently. Some prefer bold disguises that blend into bright decorations, while others hide in quieter corners where they're less likely to attract attention.

Because everyone creates their own camouflage, the same map can lead to completely different matches every time you play.

How to Play

1. Join an online multiplayer room.
2. Wait to be assigned as a Hider or a Seeker.
3. Hiders paint their characters before the search begins.
4. Find a hiding place that matches your camouflage.
5. Stay as still as possible while the Seekers explore the map.
6. The Hiders win by surviving until the timer expires. The Seekers win by finding every hidden player.
