Mr Flip is a little physics game that looks simple at first… until you realize gravity has no mercy. This game is equal parts funny and frustrating. You can play it on PC or straight from your browser, so there’s really no excuse not to give it a spin (literally).
There’s no complicated story here—just you, a 2D world, and a character who loves flipping around like he’s auditioning for the Olympics. The settings change as you move forward: one moment you’re at a basketball court, then suddenly you’re on a construction site or somebody’s front yard. It’s light, quick, and full of “oops” moments.
There are 8 levels in the game, adding up to 80 stages, and every level contains 10 screens. The early stages feel chill, but soon the difficulty creeps up, and you’ll be retrying more than you’d like to admit.
Controls are easy enough:
Spacebar + Arrow Keys – That’s all you need. Spin, flip, switch direction.
The job: land a clean 180° or 360°. Miss it, and down you go. Retry button, here we come.
There are two ways to play:
Level Mode: The main adventure, unlocking fancy flips like Pike, Scissor, and Knee Tuck as you move along.
Arcade Mode: Appears after 10 challenges. It’s tougher—you’ve got to hit 10 flips in a row with a draining health bar. It’s basically training for the “never give up” crowd.
Hold an arrow key a little longer before hitting the spacebar - it gives you better momentum.
Later levels aren’t just about pressing buttons fast. Pick the right flip for the job.
Don’t rush. The game rewards patience more than speed.
Good stuff:
Really easy to pick up but hard to master.
Clean 2D style that doesn’t distract you.
The catchy soundtrack with drums and horns makes the flips feel like a party
Not-so-good:
It can feel like a steep learning curve.
Unlocking new moves takes some grinding.
Still, for anyone into simulation games, this one balances silly fun with enough challenge to keep you hooked.
Mr Flip is one of those games you keep saying, “just one more try”, until suddenly it’s been an hour. You’ll laugh, fail, retry, and then celebrate when you finally nail that perfect landing. Casual players will enjoy the quick fun, and hardcore folks will love chasing every unlock.
If you can’t get enough of flipping around, you might also want to try Wacky Flip or Flip Master. Just don’t blame me if you get addicted.
